Platform updates
New versions arrive centrally. Learn which updates apply on their own, which ones wait for your approval and what the panel shows.
Kambloo is updated for every store from the centre. You never download or install anything; the panel tells you what is coming and, for feature releases, lets you choose the moment.
Four kinds of releases

What the panel shows
- Feature releases appear as a banner with the release notes and three choices: update now, apply tonight at 03:00 in your time zone, or remind me later. "Remind me later" hides the banner for three days. A feature release cannot be postponed forever: after two further minor versions it is applied automatically, with a warning in advance.
- Security and critical fixes appear as an information banner with the date and time of the automatic update and a note about the impact. There are no buttons.
- Maintenance releases only appear in the changelog.
If a release changes your store's database, the banner always says so and gives an estimated duration.
During an update
An update takes the store into maintenance mode briefly, applies the changes, checks that everything is healthy and reopens the store. Should a step fail, the store is rolled back automatically and our operations team is alerted. A notification in the panel confirms the version you are on.

Every release is listed on the changelog with its type and notes.
