Connect your domain
Step by step through the go-live wizard: enter the domain, add the DNS records, wait for verification and SSL.

The go-live wizard lives in the admin panel under Settings, then Domains. It takes your domain from "entered" to "live" without any manual work on our side.
Step 1: enter your domain
Type the domain without https:// or www., for example yourstore.com; the wizard normalises what you enter. It refuses subdomains of kambloo.com and domains that are already connected to another store. If the domain is yours but shows as taken, write to us and we verify the ownership.
Is a website already live on this domain? Tick the box if so. The wizard then prepares the SSL certificate through a DNS text record before you change the main records, so your existing site never goes dark during the switch.
Step 2: add the DNS records
Open the DNS management page of the company you bought the domain from and add the records the wizard lists. Remove any existing A, AAAA or CNAME records for the same names first.
| Type | Name (host) | Value | TTL |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNAME | @ (root) |
connect.kambloo.com |
Auto / 300 |
| CNAME | www |
connect.kambloo.com |
Auto / 300 |
Some providers do not accept a CNAME on the root name. In that case the wizard shows A records with our IP addresses to use for @ instead; providers that support CNAME flattening, ALIAS or ANAME records (Cloudflare DNS, DNSimple and others) can keep the CNAME.
If you ticked "a website is already live", one more row appears: a TXT record with the name and value the wizard displays.
The same table may show the records for sending email from your domain. They are optional at this point.
Press I added the records, check now.
Step 3: verification
We look up your records from public resolvers and from your domain's own name servers. Most providers publish changes within minutes; some take up to 24 to 48 hours ("DNS propagation"). You can close the page: we keep checking for 48 hours and send you an email and a panel notification as soon as the records are right.
While waiting, the page shows the last check time, a try again now button and, if something looks wrong, a hint such as "your domain currently points somewhere else". A hint is not a failure; the wizard only gives up after the 48-hour budget.
Step 4: SSL certificate
Once the records are verified, a free SSL certificate is issued for both yourstore.com and www.yourstore.com. This takes 1 to 5 minutes, rarely up to 15. Nothing to do on your side.
Step 5: final steps
Your pages are cached on the new address, the sitemap is rebuilt with the new URLs and submitted to search engines, the email templates switch to the new address and the test address starts redirecting permanently to your domain.
Step 6: live
Your store answers on https://yourstore.com. The checklist card confirms DNS, SSL, redirects and the sitemap submission.
Root domain or www
Both names are connected. By default the root domain (yourstore.com) is the canonical address and www.yourstore.com redirects to it. You can make www the canonical name instead from the domain settings; the other name keeps redirecting.
