SSL certificates
Certificates are issued and renewed for you. Learn how validation works and what to do when your site is already live.
Every store on Kambloo is served over HTTPS: the test address from day one, and your own domain from the moment it is verified.
Automatic issuance
When your DNS records are verified, a certificate is issued for yourstore.com and www.yourstore.com. There is nothing to buy and nothing to upload. Renewals happen before expiry without any action from you.
Two ways to validate

| TXT | The wizard shows a TXT record to add at your DNS provider. The certificate is prepared before you change the main records. | When you tick "a website is already live on this domain" in step 1, or as a fallback if HTTP validation gets stuck. |
The TXT method is what makes a zero-downtime move possible: your current site keeps running until the certificate is ready and you switch the CNAME as the very last step.
CAA records
If your domain restricts which certificate authorities may issue certificates, the wizard stops with a CAA message. The records to add are listed in DNS troubleshooting.
Certificate status
The domain settings show the certificate status (pending, active, failed) and the issue date. A failed status always comes with the reason and a try again now button.
