App Market FAQ
Activation codes, gifts, refunds, included modules and how module charges appear on your invoice.
On this page
What is an activation code?
A one-time code in the form KMB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX that you receive after buying a module or theme on kambloo.com and redeem in your store's admin panel. See Activation codes.
Can I buy a module for someone else?
Yes. A code is not tied to the buyer; whoever redeems it holds the license. Send the code to the other store.
Can I pay for a module inside the admin panel?
No. The panel is the catalog; every payment happens on kambloo.com. The Buy button takes you there with your account already matched.
What does "Included" mean?
The module is part of every store: switch it on from the panel without a purchase or code. See Included modules.
Do I pay for modules during my free month?
Yes for subscriptions and usage-based modules. The free month covers the software and the hosting; module renewals are still charged.
How are subscription modules billed?
The activation code starts the first period. Renewals are added to your hosting invoice. See Trials, subscriptions and usage-based modules.
Can I get a refund?
One-time purchases: unconditionally within 14 days. Subscriptions: full refund within the first 14 days; after that, cancel and keep using the module until the paid period ends. See Refunds.
What happens to my data when a module is switched off?
It stays in your store's database. Switching the module back on, or buying it again, continues where you left off.
