Trials, subscriptions and usage-based modules

How free trials work, how subscription renewals and usage charges are billed, and what happens when a payment fails.

Free trials

Products that offer a trial show a Try free for X days button in the panel. A trial needs no payment and no code; the module installs like any other.

  • One trial per product per store.
  • Three days before the trial ends you receive a notification and an email with a purchase link.
  • If you do not buy, the module is switched off when the trial ends. Its data stays in your store's database; buying later continues where you left off.

Subscriptions

The activation code starts the first period. Renewals are not charged separately: they are added as a line to your hosting invoice and collected with it. During your free month of hosting the hosting line is zero, but module renewals are still charged; the free month covers the software and the hosting, not App Market modules.

Cancel a subscription at any time from Market, then Installed: the module stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed.

Usage-based modules

Usage (for example AI credits) is counted during the period and settled on the hosting invoice at the end of it, at the unit price shown on the product page.

Failed renewal

If a renewal cannot be collected, the license stays valid for a grace period of 7 days while the payment is retried and you are asked to update the card. After the grace period the license expires and the module is switched off; its data is kept.

Currency

Prices are shown and billed in your hosting currency. A product priced in another currency is converted at the daily rate and the converted price is shown before you pay.
