Help Center FAQ

Pricing and payments FAQ

Is the software really free, what do you pay for, when does billing start, and which currencies are supported.

Is the software really free?

Yes. Every feature is included with every store and nothing is held back for a higher plan. Kambloo earns from resource-based hosting plans and from paid modules and themes in the App Market.

What exactly do I pay for?

Hosting resources: monthly traffic, storage and media bandwidth. Plans differ only in these three numbers. See How hosting plans work.

Do you take a commission on my sales?

No. Kambloo takes no share of your revenue and never counts it for billing.

When do I start paying?

Your test store on yourstore.kambloo.com is free with no time limit. After you go live on your own domain, hosting is free for the first month. Billing starts when that period ends and you have chosen a plan. See The first free month.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Neither the sign-up nor the go-live wizard asks for a card. A card is entered only when you choose a hosting plan.

Which currencies can I pay in?

Turkish lira plans are collected through iyzico; other currencies through Stripe.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. A yearly plan costs the price of ten months.

Is sending email charged?

No. Sending email to your customers is a standard service on every store. SMS is not sold by Kambloo either: you connect your own provider account and pay that provider directly.

What happens if I exceed my plan?

Nothing is cut off. You are notified at 80% and 95% and offered the next plan. See Usage and limits.
