Customer accounts
Customers can create an account with an email address, keep an address book, see their order history and their returns, and keep a wishlist. A guest order can be turned into an account after checkout with one click.
Groups and segments
Put customers into groups (wholesale, VIP, staff) to give them their own prices or to target campaigns. Rule-based segments (spend, frequency, last order, tags, location) update themselves and feed campaigns and automations.
Marketing consent
Commercial messages in Turkey require the customer's consent and its registration with the İYS system. Kambloo enforces this in the code:
- Consent is asked per channel (email, SMS) with boxes that are never pre-ticked, at sign-up, at checkout and in the account settings.
- Each consent is stored with its source, time and IP address, and synchronised with İYS in both directions.
- A marketing message is never sent to someone without consent. Transactional messages (order confirmation, shipping updates, password emails) do not need consent and are always sent.
- Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link; SMS messages carry the opt-out instruction.
The customer's data rights
- Export. A customer can download their own data from their account.
- Deletion. On request, personal fields are anonymised irreversibly. Order records are kept in anonymised form for the period the tax law requires.
- Your store's data. The store owner can export the whole store (database and media list) as a ZIP from the settings; the download link is valid for 72 hours.
Where the data lives
Your customers' data is stored in your store's own database, separate from every other store, and backed up per store every night.
